The boys wait on the beach then when they see a wave coming that they fancy, they run towards the sea, throw the board into the water and skim TOWARDS the wave trying to turn and catch it as it breaks. Very amusing to watch!

Surf's up!
I went to a different beach yesterday where I could watch the surfers and the waves. Each beach seems to be known for a different kind of wave and the surfing is adapted to the types of waves.
The boys wait on the beach then when they see a wave coming that they fancy, they run towards the sea, throw the board into the water and skim TOWARDS the wave trying to turn and catch it as it breaks. Very amusing to watch!
