Another lovely Sunday at the beach...

I am fascinated by the plant life here: it seems to be coming to life right now just as if it were spring and everything that was dried up and yellow is now going green! And they try so hard to convince themselves that it's autumn. The only autumn leaves I've seen so far are fake ones in the shops.


The weekends are really busy down at the beach. I loved this old Chinese couple in their matching sun chairs. This is their spot - they are there every day. It's the look-out point over Newport Beach Harbour which can be seen in the opening credits of the TV series The OC. See below: that's MY beach!


Plenty of people having barbecues, or recuperating after a late Saturday night!
