Only three more days before the departure to Los Angeles. Not feeling too apprehensive in spite of warnings about trigger-happy Americans not being able to understand my accent or my jokes! My great "get fit in California" plan - jogging along the beach, sun-bleached hair in the wind etc. etc. - may have been undermined by the fact that I already know where the nearest Cheesecake Factory is...and that it seems like a good idea to eat in Food Courts rather than bother with shopping and cooking...We shall see!
