This is the tusk of a giant woolly mammouth. He mislaid it about four and a half thousand years ago. Then some ancient Chinese ivory sculptors thought it would be a good idea to carve it into lots of little Buddhas. It took them a 100 years to do. Now it's in a case in a casino in Las Vegas, surrounded by people too busy drinking Budweisers to take any notice of it. That's life...
