According to the guide book, "Venice Beach is a magnet for freaks and those who like to look at freaks"...There are certainly some strange sights to behold. There is also a lot of activity going on: people playing paddle tennis or basketball, skateboarders, acrobats, cyclists and bodybuilders. You can buy cheap food and cannabis (for medical purposes) and all kinds of crafts or you can just give your money away to bag people and tramps making sand scultures...
